Social Media - Should You Bother?
Is any social media presence better than none? Putting up the odd post, sharing some content, a few photographs… if you’ve ever tried to run a social media account for your business, you’ll know that it’s actually not that easy, and it can be very time consuming! As an agency, we can talk about engagement, UGC, and algorithms all day, until your eyes glaze over, but whatever you post really IS seen by lots of people, potential customers, competitors and existing clients, and every piece of content informs their opinion of your brand. The quiet impact of social media is that it drives your brand perception and brand awareness, so if you’re going to bother with social media, treat it as you would any other advertising medium and make it part of your business strategy and action plans.

Ultra targeted and a blessing for those needing to prove ROI, Meta or LinkedIn advertising really is the opportunity you didn’t realise you needed. Tackling it alone though, is not for the faint hearted as it is a complicated mix of establishing your strategy, creating content, running for the correct length of time, spending just enough money, targeting the right people and then, just when you think you’ve cracked it, they go and throw in AI.
